Strong hold and flexibility with durable materials
The upper is made of synthetic leather and synthetic fibers. The durable material holds the foot securely while also providing a good fit due to its flexibility. Moreover, the fastening type uses both laces and a belt. However, unlike spikes that tighten around the ankle like Asics' "SP Blade" or Mizuno's "Chrono Inks," this is a rare type with a belt on the instep. A similar spike with a belt structure at the toe is Asics' "Cyber Blade." Even without the belt, a sufficient fit and hold can be achieved, but the belt that pulls from the little toe provides even more stable hold and suppresses lateral movement while running. The mesh processing at the heel also offers breathability.

A tight and high-fit upper characteristic of adidas
As a common feature of adidas, compared to domestic brands, it has a very tight width, and the heel part is designed as a forefoot spike, which means there is no heel counter and it is stretchy. Many domestic manufacturers have plastic heel counters, which can cause discomfort for those with larger heels after prolonged wear, but adidas, without a heel counter, provides a comfortable fit even for those with larger heels. The toe is also very sharp, so wearing a just size can squeeze the toes tightly, making it difficult to exert toe strength. Furthermore, the strap over the instep is reinforced with a double upper for a tight finish.

A very stiff plate characteristic of adidas
All pins of the Accelerator are removable, and the arrangement is the same 2-1-3 three rows of six pins as the Prime SP and Finesse. The surface of the plate is very simple and neat as shown in the photo. It has one more pin than the Finesse, and due to the four line-shaped protrusions from the toe to the heel on the sole surface, it is extremely stiff and cannot be easily bent by hand, comparable to the higher model Prime SP. The most notable feature is the thick protrusion in the forefoot area, which automatically guides forefoot landing. Since it puts a load on the calves while wearing it to achieve forefoot landing, caution is needed as prolonged use can lead to injuries.

A plate with a very high slope
As a spike focused on the forefoot, it has a higher arch and supports the action of pushing down near the forefoot to the tip of the foot. In a quick visual comparison, it is lower than Mizuno's custom spikes with the Inks sole, but among Adidas spikes, it has the highest arch. The thickness around the forefoot allows for a smooth transition from the toe to the midfoot, but there is an angle from there to the rear foot, which may not suit flat-footed athletes.
