Recommended for such people
-Those contemplating between the Geo Splash 7
The difference from the Geo Splash is that the larger curvature of the sole makes the Geo Part LD more recommended for those who want to shift their center of gravity to the forefoot for propulsion.
-Those who find NIKE or NB too narrow to wear
This size is recommended for Japanese athletes with wider feet.
-Those looking for a sturdy long-distance spike for practice
The upper part is coated at the toe and is thick overall, but it weighs 140g, making it more suitable for practice rather than competition, excelling in durability.
-Those who find the rebound of the Chrono Dist lacking
With slightly longer 7mm pins and a plate extending to the forefoot, you can feel the rebound.

Features

Thick and sturdy knit upper that allows for increased output with peace of mind

The upper is made of knit and is overall thick and sturdy. Thanks to the thickness of the upper and the coating on the toes, it is more durable than other lightweight long-distance spikes. However, due to its considerable thickness, it can become a bit stuffy and retain heat, which can be a drawback for long-distance running. Additionally, it tends to absorb a lot of water in wet environments like the water pit in the 3000mSC, making it heavier. (No waterproofing confirmed by the manufacturer) Rather than being recommended for use in the 3000mSC as suggested by the manufacturer, it is a spike that is better suited for practice due to its durability. Furthermore, because the laces are of the stretchable type, it can create a fit that conforms to the shape of the foot.

Sturdy coating applied upper compatible with the 3000mSC

The toe has a coating that makes it resistant to tearing, providing a sturdy feature that protects the spike from the load on the toes during intense landings in the 3000mSC. The width is overwhelmingly wide and not tight, allowing for smooth wear. The heel counter (the back side of the heel) is also made to be hard and sturdy, providing stability. Currently, among the long-distance spikes handled by Picker, the ones with a hard heel counter are only the Mizuno spikes (this spike GeoSpart LD and GeoSplash 7) and New Balance's ULD5K.

Relatively soft sole suitable for beginners

There are a total of 7 pins, with 7mm pins included. The replaceable 5 pins are arranged in a 2-3 configuration, and the 2 fixed pins are 2.5mm. For long-distance running, this is a relatively high number of pins, providing a firm grip on the ground during contact. The tip plate has a certain hardness, which may be a concern for foot strain when running over 3000m. However, it is not as hard as the mid to long-distance spikes from NIKE, ADIDAS, or New Balance, making it a plate that can accommodate various events. Therefore, it can be considered a long-distance spike that beginners can handle. Additionally, the heel area features sharkskin, similar to the NIKE Zoom Mamba V, designed to prevent slipping in wet environments like the 3000mSC. This sole is the same as that of the MIZUNO GeoSplash 7.

Sole with an inclined and easy-to-ride shape

The curvature of the sole is almost the same incline as New Balance's ULD5K and NIKE's Mamba V, and has a greater curvature than Mizuno's long-distance spike, the GeoSplash 7. The larger curvature of the sole allows for a stronger push against the ground with the forefoot during contact, making it easier to generate propulsion.
