Recommended for such people
- Recommended for those with narrow and slim feet
MIZUNO's Field Geo HJ is the second narrowest spike in the high jump category.
It is recommended for those who find foreign brands like NIKE and ADIDAS a bit too wide or are looking for a snug fit.

- For those wanting a moderately firm high jump spike
MIZUNO's Field Geo HJ has the softest sole compared to other brands.
You can feel the difference just by touching it compared to NIKE, ADIDAS, and ASICS.

Features

Reliable upper common to Field Geo

The upper material is synthetic fiber and artificial leather. Compared to ASICS High Jump Pro and NIKE High Jump Elite, it has more fiber material, so if breathability is a priority, MIZUNO Field Geo HJ is recommended.

The upper is tightened with laces and a strap. The strap is located at the ankle and is thinner compared to high jump spikes from ADIDAS and NIKE. However, it still provides sufficient tightening, ensuring a solid hold around the ankle. It achieves a stable fit without wobbling during takeoff and provides support through the tightening during takeoff.

Width designed for Japanese feet

The width is 8.9cm, making it the second narrowest compared to high jump spikes from other manufacturers. Surprisingly, spikes from overseas brands like NIKE and ADIDAS are perceived as narrower, but that is a characteristic of track event spikes only; in high jump spikes, domestic brands like MIZUNO and ASICS are narrower. Below is a simple comparison of widths with other manufacturers.
ASICS High Jump PRO2 > MIZUNO Field Geo HJ > Other ASICS > NIKE >
In the order above, the spikes are arranged from left to right in order of decreasing width.

Sole hardness considered for ease of run-up

It has a typical configuration for high jump spikes, with 11 pins (7 in the front, 4 in the back), and includes replaceable 9mm two-stage parallel metal pins. The hardness of the sole is the softest, excluding ASICS beginner models. However, when including beginner models, the softest sole is ASICS Tiger Paw JAPAN ARCH. That said, "soft" is relative when compared to other high jump spikes, as it is harder compared to sprint spikes. The surface of the sole features shark skin, making it easier to grip the ground during takeoff. The appearance of the sole surface is designed asymmetrically, with different shapes for the left and right shoes. There is an incline for support during the inward lean of the run-up.

Easy-to-use sole that suits anyone

The curvature of the sole is at a medium incline compared to other high jump spikes. It is not too high or too flat, providing a comfortable fit without quirks. Since it is a spike made for Japanese people, you can run up without discomfort.
