ASICS' High Jump PRO is the lightest in the high jump spike category, weighing 244g, which is still considered a normal weight compared to sprint spikes.
It is lighter by more than 20g compared to other high jump spikes, allowing for faster approaches and easier jumps.

If you want to run the approach firmly and utilize speed for jumping, the lightweight and speed-friendly High Jump PRO is recommended.

Features

The upper will become your spike with use

The upper material is made entirely of synthetic leather, resulting in low breathability.
Synthetic leather conforms to your foot over time.
With prolonged use, the fit improves, holding your foot securely without slipping during the run-up or take-off.
Additionally, it features a type that secures with both laces and a belt, commonly seen in high jump spikes.
The belt is an ankle belt commonly found in high jump spikes and is the same thickness as typical ASICS spikes.

Slightly tight width

ASICS high jump spikes are generally narrower compared to other manufacturers.
They are designed for athletes with relatively slim feet.
Below is a simple width comparison order:
Other ASICS > MIZUNO > High Jump PRO > NIKE > ADIDAS

In the order above, the spikes become narrower from the left side.
Moreover, the heel area is also firm, securely fixing the heel in place. The toe construction features a harder outer sole that covers more area compared to other manufacturers.
As a result, it is built with high durability to withstand impacts on the heel and toe.

Sole boasting the highest hardness

It has a typical configuration for high jump spikes, with 11 pins (7 in the front, 4 in the back), and comes with replaceable 9mm metal dual parallel pins.
The hardness of the sole is harder than that of overseas manufacturer spikes such as MIZUNO's Field Geo, NIKE, and ADIDAS, making this ASICS High Jump PRO the hardest sole spike compared to all manufacturers and all types of spikes.
The shape of the sole surface features a synthetic bottom, and it is covered with rubber anti-slip material, which is not commonly seen in other spikes.
Additionally, due to the model being limited to the left and right of the take-off foot, one foot has a slope.
This slope is for inward tilt support during the run-up. Care should be taken not to mistakenly purchase (R) right-foot take-off spikes for those who take off with their left foot.

An average easy-to-handle sole

Compared to other high jump spikes, the curvature is around the middle.
It features a normal curvature that is neither too large nor too small.
The curvature of the sole itself is exactly the same angle as ASICS's Heat Fly.
