An upper featuring thinness, sturdiness, and a snug fit
The upper is made of thin synthetic fiber in a mesh structure, combining horizontal and vertical knitting, resulting in a robust build. Moreover, it is thin enough to be slightly translucent when you put your hand inside, and the tongue is also quite thin, providing a fit that clings to the top of the foot. There are two small air holes on each side of the forefoot, effectively and quickly expelling water that enters the spikes from the water trench in the 3000m SC, making it strong against wet conditions. The side stripes are reinforced with resin coating to prevent tearing, designed to withstand the impact of intense landings after clearing hurdles in the 3000m SC.

A sturdy upper that minimizes lateral movement during landing due to the hardness of the material
It has a width rating of 3.5 out of 5, the same as the upcoming Gunlap 2. In actual wear, the fit feels quite small, so a size 0.5cm larger than other spikes provides the right comfort. Additionally, the upper material has the same hardness as the Gunlap 2. The COSMORACER LD2, Mamba V, and Matumbo provide a better impression of comfort. However, due to the hardness of the upper material in the Gunlap SC, it makes it easier to minimize lateral movement during landings after hurdle jumps in the 3000m SC, allowing for a reliable shock absorption.

A non-slip sole optimized for 3000m SC
The pins come with five replaceable metal 5mm pins in a dual parallel column design. The outer sole features a nylon plate that combines flexibility with moderate rebound. Among Japanese manufacturers like ASICS and MIZUNO, it is the spike with the highest rebound power for long-distance running. It is very hard, particularly feeling the rebound in the forefoot. Despite its high rebound characteristics, the sole has a split structure with separate plates on the right and left sides, resulting in high flexibility. Therefore, it is a sole that makes it easy to generate the necessary speed to clear hurdles while receiving moderate rebound during the run before jumping.

Sole with a shape that is easy to step onto and has an incline
The curvature of the sole is rated 4 out of 5, indicating a high-angled sole shape. The next model, Gunwrap 2, is rated 3 out of 5, so the main differences from this model are in the shape and hardness of the sole. The midsole uses a lightweight material called "Solyte," designed for lightweight performance. ※Solyte: A midsole material that achieves "about half the weight compared to traditional EVA midsole materials."
