A normal upper with no waterproof function
The upper is the same as that used in the running shoes "Wave Cruise," which are worn for long distances in relay races and road races up to 20km. The material is made of synthetic fibers and artificial leather, so its durability is less reliable compared to spikes with mesh or reinforcements, and after a few months of use, it tends to tear from the tip of the toes. Officially, it is said to be compatible with 3000m steeplechase, but the actual upper part is made of a cloth-like material and is not waterproof. *Confirmed with the manufacturer

A wider upper that can accommodate athletes with broader foot widths
The Geosplash is designed with a wide width. Additionally, the heel counter (the back of the heel) is made to be hard and sturdy, providing stability. Currently, among the long-distance spikes handled by Picker, the ones with a hard heel counter are only the Mizuno spikes (this spike Geospart LD and Geosplash 7) and New Balance's ULD5K.

Relatively soft sole suitable for beginners
There are a total of 7 pins, with 7mm pins included. The replaceable 5 pins are arranged in a 2-3 configuration, and the 2 fixed pins are 2.5mm. For long-distance running, this is a relatively high number of pins, providing a firm grip on the ground during contact. The tip plate has a certain hardness, which may be a concern for foot strain when running over 3000m. However, it is not as hard as the mid to long-distance spikes from NIKE, ADIDAS, or New Balance, making it a plate that can accommodate various events. Therefore, it can be considered a long-distance spike that beginners can handle. Additionally, the heel area features sharkskin, similar to the NIKE Zoom Mamba V, designed to prevent slipping in wet environments like the 3000mSC. This sole is the same as that of the MIZUNO GeoSplash 7.

Flat sole with no incline
The curvature of the sole is the smallest incline among long-distance spikes, including those from other manufacturers. This means it has the flattest sole shape. Due to its flat shape, it provides a stable fit that is easy for beginners with no peculiarities to wear. With less curvature in the sole, it allows for a comfortable and low-impact run, making it very easy to wear even for long-distance running.
