Upper that feels just like a sock
This is New Balance's all-weather, flagship model specialized for 100m and 200m. The feature of the Vazee Sigma Harmony (also known as USDSGMH) is the innovative BOA® Fit System. World-class athlete Trayvon Bromell uses it. The material is synthetic leather. It is thin and lightweight yet very durable, making it suitable for high-speed use. The ankle area uses stretchable mesh material, and the BOA® Fit System is employed for foot stabilization. The dial on the ankle area tightens the entire upper uniformly in a unique way that is neither a belt nor laces, integrating the shin, ankle, and heel with the upper to create strong stability.

Narrow-width spikes designed for overseas specifications
It is designed to be slightly narrower to emphasize fit. While it can be adjusted somewhat with the BOA® Fit System, it is tailored for overseas athletes who typically have narrow foot widths, making it considerably tighter compared to domestic brands like Asics. On the other hand, the ankle area has a longer cut like long socks, featuring a distinctive structure to enhance fit. Due to this unique structure, athletes who usually prioritize fit and choose one size down are recommended to purchase their exact size. The toe box is sharp but rounder than Adidas, resembling domestic brands, making it suitable for Japanese feet.

Equipped with 8 pins for strong grip
The pins of the Vazee Sigma Harmony are arranged in a 2-2-4 configuration, totaling 8 pins. This arrangement is commonly used in Nike's Zoom Superfly and Mizuno's custom spike insoles, making it typical for power-oriented spikes. Additionally, the toe area has a similar arrangement to Adidas. The surface of the sole has a simple design with protrusions of varying heights. Compared to other spikes, the sole narrows significantly at the ball of the foot, as it is designed to focus on the forefoot. The varying lengths of the protrusions on the sole allow for smooth transitions across different curves of the ground, effectively converting them into propulsion and support, which has received high praise.

When actually worn, the sole tends to be slightly curved
The hardness of the sole is due to the Pebax® plate, which is a rigid, lightweight, and highly responsive TPU plate, making it firm and focused on rebound, yet not too hard, allowing for flexibility and a wide range of movements. My impression after trying them on was that it was easy to maintain a forward-leaning posture without landing on the heel. The curvature is pronounced, supporting the shift of weight towards the toes during landing. This aids in the action of pushing off close to the front of the foot. Although it is a spike focused on the forefoot, the wide contact area provides stable rebound.
